Northwest Ireland is perhaps the most underrated golf destination on the planet and certainly the most surprising for our clients. Architects like Gil Hanse and Tom Doak have left their mark on the region in the last decade and, consequently, the golf more than holds its own. Visitors to the region will find towering dunes (as high as anywhere in Ireland!) alongside the stunning backdrop of the Wild Atlantic Way’s rugged coastline. As an added bonus, those planning a trip will find much better tee time availability at bucket-list courses at fraction of the price of other comparable regions. We can’t recommend it highly enough. Ireland’s capital city has no shortage of things to do and see and the real difficulty is deciding what to leave off of your itinerary. A great line-up of golf courses sit within 90 minutes of the city-center, including a Ryder Cup host and several World Top 100 layouts. It’s the non-golfing activities, though, that sets the Dublin area apart. Historically significant and culturally relevant sites abound and some time in the Temple Bar area is a must.
