Boasting 2 championship golf courses, phenomenal service, and unparalleled facilities, Indian Wells golf resort should definitely make your list! Both courses offer fun and fair layouts catering to both the beginner golfer and the golfer who enjoys a challenge. The fairways, greens, and rough are kept in impeccable shape, while lush surroundings offer a twist on traditional desert golf. Several bodies of water dot each course adding to the scenery, while also making your round a little more interesting. Our only criticism of the experience was the dining. However, overall both courses at Indian Wells golf resort are a must play while you’re soaking up the desert sun.

Indian Wells is certainly a premier resort in not only the desert, but in all of California. The service will make you feel right at home and the golf will send you home happy. Make sure to check both courses out while you’re in the area!

Also offering 2 championship courses, fantastic practice facilities, and friendly and helpful staff, Desert Willow golf is one of the premier golf experiences in the desert. Perhaps the most scenic desert golf you will ever play, make sure Desert Willow golf is on your list. Lush green fairways and uniquely designed waste areas separate Desert Willow from the rest of the pack. With enough water to keep the round interesting, fun layouts to keep you on your toes, and wonderful service, both courses really impressed us. Dining at Desert Willow is a unique experience as they have a wonderful patio overlooking the tranquil setting of the 9th and 18th greens. Playing host to PGA tour events certainly puts a course on the map and the stadium course at PGA West is certainly no exception. The stadium course boasts the best conditioning of any course you can play in the desert and couples that with some of the hardest golf holes you will ever play. A true beast, the stadium course is a must-play for everyone. Walk in the footsteps of some of the best players of our time, soak up the sun, and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil setting that is the stadium course at PGA West.

Despite the price tag, the Stadium course offers a great golf experience. Given how challenging the course is, we believe it is better suited for more skilled players.

Home to the Bob Hope classic a few years ago, SilverRock golf course provides a scenic test of golf for every skill level. The course meanders along the side of the mountains and provides a home for many big horn sheep. Fantastic bunkering, big greens, and generous fairways reward good shots but also punish bad shots making for a very fair, yet tremendous challenge. From the back tees, it’s truly a monster and if you feel like putting your game to the test it’s certainly a good measuring stick. However, for most average golfers there is a set of tees to send you home happy and feeling good about your round. Friendly staff, excellent course conditioning, and stunning vistas are what makes SilverRock an unforgettable experience.
For the price, SilverRock is one of the best values in the area. You get to enjoy a tour quality golf course, friendly service, and some views that will leave you speechless. SilverRock is a must play in the desert.

Picking our favorite course was like choosing a favorite child. With so many awesome courses, fantastic service, and unique layouts, we pretty much had a 5-way tie at the top. When all is said and done, we chose SilverRock as our winner because it provides the best views, an amazing layout for all skill levels, and offers the best overall experience for a very reasonable price.
