Bali Hai is a great place to spend the day while in Vegas. Located on the Strip and always in immaculate condition, this place isn’t hard to find, but very hard to leave. Bali Hai boasts perfectly lush fairways and greens, palm trees lining each hole, white sand bunkers and water features helping make this course one of the most beautiful in the region. Once you’re finished, head up to the restaurant and take in the sights and sounds of the amazing 18th hole. This is a golfers paradise!
Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort
About 30 minutes from downtown Las Vegas is another great choice for your golf getaway. Las Vegas Paiute golf Resort is home to 3 courses and all 3 are worth your time and money. Pete Dye designed this 54 hole Resort and it’s not a place you’re going to want to miss. The 3 sets of 18 offer many different styles and demand your attention at all times. You will find yourself playing through elevation changes, slopes, desert style holes and water features. A day spent at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort will be a day to remember, that’s for sure.
Bears Best
Less than 10 miles from the strip lies an amazing set of copycat 18 holes called Bears Best. Jack Nicklaus put together an entire course of his favourite holes west of the Mississippi and into Mexico, hence, Bears Best. This property boasts amazing views and unique features such as the black sand bunkers. Bears Best is always in pristine condition and will definitely test your shot making abilities. A great test and a very unique layout will keep you wanting more at this amazing oasis in the desert!
Wolf Creek
This course is a bit of a trek but totally worth it. The drive from Vegas is about 90 minutes but once you get there, you’ll realize why it’s on this list. The esthetics of the property alone are going to keep you reaching for your camera. You will experience massive elevation drops and some of the greenest fairways you will ever see. The rust coloured hills surrounding each hole combined with the white sand bunkers makes this one of those courses the will continually blow your mind. No matter your experience or skill level, this place will leave you in awe. Don’t let the drive turn you away from teeing it up here, trust me, it’s worth it!
Top Golf
If you have never been to Top Golf, it is a must. All skill, and interest levels will absolutely love it here. It’s a place where you can be social or competitive, practice or play, there are no shortage of good times to had. Food and drinks served to your stalls, games to play with friends and endless targets to aim at. If you’re in Las Vegas on a golf trip, do not miss out on Top Golf. I have never heard of anyone not enjoying their time there and I would hate for you to skip it for some fancy restaurant or Vegas show.
